We cut this oversized pullover from a substantial cotton and polyester jersey with a brushed fleece interior for cooler days. The shoulders drop low, leading into long sleeves gathered by ribbed cuffs. Hawaii lettering is embroidered across the chest in clean needlework. Ribbing at the neck and lower hem keeps the wide shape tidy.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Crew neck and shoulders
A classic ribbed band finishes the round neckline so it lies flat against the collarbone without stretching out. We dropped the shoulder seams well past the natural shoulder line, giving the chest and upper body a wide, relaxed drape.
Brushed fleece knit
The cotton and polyester blend brings exterior smoothness and a plush fleece backing on the inside. It holds body heat well in cold weather, gives a slight stretch through the torso, and holds its shape through regular wash cycles.
Ribbed cuffs and hem
Both the sleeve cuffs and the straight lower hem are cut from sturdy ribbed knit. They gather the volume at the wrists and hips, balancing the wide cut of the torso and keeping drafts from running up the arms.
Wash and care
Wash by hand or run through the machine on a gentle cycle, washed separately from lint-shedding fabrics. Skip the bleach to preserve the deep charcoal gray ground and the embroidery threads, then lay flat or hang to dry.
