We cut this lightweight rain jacket with an attached hood and an internal waist cord to adjust the drape over your layers. The coated shell blocks wind and sheds light precipitation, backed by a soft plaid lining throughout the body. Front patch pockets hold daily items, and the hem falls at a classic coat length.

The details we cut in
Hood and waist cords
The attached hood is cut with drawstrings to tighten around the face when the wind picks up. Inside the waist casing, matched cords let you draw the shell closer or leave the coat loose over thick knits.
Plaid lining
A woven plaid fabric lines the interior of the coat, giving the lightweight outer shell extra structure and a clean finish along the front opening. The lining feels smooth against bare arms or wool sleeves.
Shell and front pockets
The outer shell uses a tightly woven fabric coated for water resistance, cut light enough to pack down into a day pack. Deep front patch pockets give your hands a resting place and secure small gear on the trail.
Wash and care
Machine wash on a gentle cycle or hand wash in cold water to preserve the shell coating. Hang the coat to drip dry away from direct heat, and do not press with a hot iron.
