We cut this button-down from plain-weave cotton with a light khaki stripe. The front opens into a notched V-neckline above a straight row of buttons, while the body hangs loose to the hips. It wears well open over a camisole or buttoned on its own.

The details we cut in
Cotton stripe weave
We weave this from cotton yarns dyed before loom work to keep the khaki stripe clean. The fabric breathes well in warm air and holds its shape through regular wash cycles.
Three-quarter sleeve cut
The sleeves finish below the elbow to keep wrists clear during daily tasks. We set the shoulder seams straight to give the upper arm room to move without pulling the placket.
Neckline and front placket
The collar opens into a clean V-neck before running into the button-front closure. You can fasten it to the top button or leave it unbuttoned over a tank.
Washing and fabric care
