We cut these trousers from soft, fine-wale corduroy with horizontal give across the grain. The leg falls straight from a relaxed hip, anchored by a fitted waistband with belt loops and a front zip fly. Finished in army green with four deep patch pockets.

The details we cut in

Corduroy fabric and give

We use a fine-wale corduroy that offers slight crosswise stretch across the seat and thighs while staying rigid lengthwise. It holds a crisp vertical line. A quick pass with a garment steamer clears out any folding creases.

Straight leg cut

The cut runs relaxed through the hips and straight down to the hem. It leaves room through the thigh and calf, falling cleanly over flat boots or low sneakers without gathering heavily at the ankle.

Waistband and fly

A fixed waistband sits near the natural waistline, secured with a metal button and front zipper fly. Sturdy belt loops are spaced around the band to hold standard leather or webbing belts.

Four patch pockets

We set two deep patch pockets flat against the front hips and two matching square pockets across the back. The open tops sit flat against the cord ribs to keep small items secure.
