We cut these trousers from a fine-wale corduroy with slight horizontal ease across the grain. The leg falls straight from a relaxed hip, anchored by a standard waistband with belt loops and a front zipper fly. Finished in deep red.

The details we cut in
Fine-wale corduroy cloth
The fabric has a narrow rib with gentle horizontal give and zero vertical stretch. It holds a crisp fold down the leg. Steam lightly after unpacking to release any packing lines.
Straight leg cut
We gave the seat and thigh extra room before dropping straight to the bottom hem. The waistband sits near the natural waistline, secured with a sturdy button and front zip.
Four patch pockets
Two open patch pockets sit flat on the front hips, paired with two matching patch pockets across the back. Each is topstitched around the perimeter to keep its shape through wash and wear.
Care and maintenance
Machine wash cold inside out to protect the raised pile of the corduroy cloth. Hang dry or tumble on low heat, then finish with a brief steam if needed.
