We cut these trousers from fine-wale corduroy with a soft hand and crosswise give. The leg runs straight from the hip down to the hem, leaving plenty of room through the thigh. A clean front fly and four deep patch pockets finish the build.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Fine-wale corduroy fabric
The weave has narrow ribs with light horizontal give and stable lengthwise grain. It holds its shape through the leg. Light steam lifts any creases from packing.
Straight leg cut
We gave the seat and thigh extra ease before running the side seams straight down to the hem. The cut stays loose around the knee and ankle.
Waistband and fly
A front metal zipper and single waist button secure the top. Belt loops are stitched flat into the waistband seam so you can thread your own belt through.
Four patch pockets
Two open patch pockets sit flat on the front hips, mirrored by two square patch pockets across the back. The topstitching keeps the openings reinforced.
