We knit this short-sleeve pullover with a fine, lightweight yarn that holds a soft drape without sheer spots. The neck drops into a tidy V-band finished with small decorative buttons down the front placket. Horizontal stripes run clean across the torso and sleeves for a steady line.

What went into it
The details we cut in
V-neckline and buttons
The neckline is banded flat so it sits smooth against the collarbone. Non-functional buttons run down the center front to anchor the split without pulling open.
Knit striped body
We yarn-dyed the navy stripes directly into the lightweight knit. The fabric stretches easily across the shoulders and recovers its shape when pulled over the head.
Short sleeve cuffs
Set-in sleeves finish with a soft ribbed band that rests mid-bicep. The shoulder seams sit right on the bone so the sleeve hangs straight without bunching.
Washing and care
Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water or wash by hand in a basin. Lay the sweater flat to dry to keep the hem and shoulders from stretching.
