We knit this lightweight pullover with a fine ribbed texture and a contrasting inset collar that gives the look of layered pieces. The grey and purple panels are joined flat at the neck. Decorative buttons run down the front placket, and the sleeves finish in neat knit cuffs.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Collar and placket
A contrast insert sits inside the collarband to create a neat layered neckline. Decorative buttons are stitched flat down the center placket for detail without extra bulk.
Ribbed knit fabric
We used a blend of viscose, polyester, and polyamide for a soft, medium-weight knit with natural give. The vertical ribbing lends structure and lets the sweater drape cleanly.
Sleeve and hem finish
The long sleeves taper into ribbed cuffs that stay in place at the wrist. We finished the straight lower hem with matching ribbing so it sits flat over waistbands.
Washing and care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Lay the sweater flat to dry to keep the knit in shape, and avoid bleach or high heat when pressing.
