We cut this quilted bomber with a short faux fur collar and a double-layer front. An inner zipper closes high, while the outer placket fastens with metal snaps to break the draft. The hem and sleeve cuffs are gathered close to hold the jacket near the body.

The details we cut in
Collar and front placket
A trimmed brown faux fur collar sits flat around the neck. The front closure uses an inner zipper under a wide placket with snap buttons, so you can fasten the inner layer alone or snap both shut.
Quilted shell and loft
We chose a soft shell quilted with light padding between the stitch lines. The fabric holds its body without feeling heavy across the shoulders, and the quilted panels keep the fill settled evenly through wear.
Cuffs and gathered hem
The sleeve ends and bottom hem are gathered with wide internal elastic bands. These bands draw the fabric in at the wrists and waist, which keeps the cropped hem from riding loose when you move.
Washing and care
Machine wash this jacket in cold water on a gentle cycle with like colours, or wash by hand. Hang or line dry out of direct sunlight. Do not bleach or press with a hot iron.
