We cut this top from a lightweight black mesh knit with built-in stretch and a sheer, open weave. A scatter of small silver stars catches the light across the chest and down the arms. It works over a dark camisole or layered under a jacket.

The details we cut in

Crew neckline

The neck is bound with a narrow self-fabric trim that holds its circle without gaping. It pulls cleanly over the head and sits flat at the base of the collarbone.

Sleeve and hem cut

We set the long sleeves straight into the shoulder for a close line down the wrist. Both the cuffs and the straight bottom hem are finished with fine overlocked stitching.

Mesh and star print

The knit is primarily nylon for flexibility and recovery. Tiny silver stars are set across the black ground, creating contrast against the dark, semi-sheer fabric.

Cold wash care

Wash by hand in cold water or place inside a mesh laundry bag on a gentle machine cycle. Skip the bleach and harsh detergents to protect the silver star finish.
