We cut this short sleeve shirt from lightweight woven cotton in an amy green and white plaid. The front opens with a full button placket below a notched V-neck collar. Small pleats at the shoulder seam and back yoke add ease through the torso.

The details we cut in

Shoulder and sleeve cut

The cap sleeves follow the shoulder line without binding under the arm. Light pleating along the forward shoulder seam gives the chest room to move without adding excess bulk to the body.

V-neck and button front

A clean turn-down collar breaks into an open V-neckline before meeting the dyed-to-match button placket. You can fasten it to the top or leave it unbuttoned over a light tank.

Plaid cotton weave

We chose a breathable plain-weave cotton for this edition. The yarn-dyed amy green and white grid holds its crispness through a full day of wear and softens gradually with each trip through the wash.

Care and maintenance

Machine wash cold with similar light colours or wash by hand in cool water. Skip the bleach. Line dry or tumble dry on low, and press with a warm iron if you prefer a sharp crease.
