A light cotton weave gives this collared shirt its structure. We shaped the neckline with an open point collar and a clean button placket, then added cap sleeves that follow the shoulder line. Small pleats along the front yoke and back give the body room to breathe without billowing.

Cotton plaid weave

We chose a pure cotton yarn for this pink and white check. The weave stays light against warm days, softening with every wash while holding the crisp line of the front placket.

Cap sleeve cut

The sleeves are cut short and close across the shoulder curve. They sit flat against the upper arm and leave full freedom through the underarm seam.

Collar and placket

A spread collar opens into a clean front placket with tonal buttons. Small pleats set into the forward shoulder seam and back yoke ease the chest fit.

Washing and care

Machine wash cold or wash by hand with like colours. Hang to dry or use a low tumble cycle, then touch up with a warm iron across the collar.
