We cut this collared shirt in lightweight woven cotton patterned with a clean red and white grid. The front opens with a full button placket below a small V-neckline. Small pleats at the shoulder and rear yoke release ease through the body, keeping the hang relaxed over trousers or shorts.

The details we cut in

Shoulder and cap sleeve

The cap sleeve sits right on the edge of the shoulder. We added small gathers beneath the yoke seam so the armhole moves without pulling across the upper chest.

Collar and front placket

A turn-down collar frames the open V-neck. The center placket runs all the way down with matched buttons, allowing you to wear it buttoned up or unfastened over a tank.

Cotton plaid weave

We chose a plain-weave cotton in crisp red and white lines. The cloth is light, holds its structure through the collar, and softens with regular wear.

Wash and care

Wash cold on a gentle cycle or by hand with mild detergent. Hang the shirt on a hanger to dry to keep the collar and yoke seams smooth without heavy pressing.
