We cut this low rise skort in a dense black stretch knit that stays opaque. The outer skirt carries a side slit for ease of step, while integrated undershorts sit flat beneath the hem. It rests on the hips with a clean, low waistband.

The details we cut in
Low rise waistband
The waistband sits low across the hips without bulk. We gave it a flat finish so it lies smooth under cropped tops, jackets, and knit layers.
Built-in undershorts
Fitted shorts are sewn directly into the inner waistband. They share the same stretch as the outer shell, staying put through walking and sitting.
Side slit hem
A short slit opens the side of the skirt. It breaks the line of the straight hem and allows unhindered movement without pulling across the thigh.
Fabric and wash care
The knit has a smooth hand and recovers its shape after wear. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and lay flat to dry to preserve the elasticity.
