We cut this sweatshirt with an open V-neck and dropped shoulder seams for an easy, loose hang. The cotton-polyester fleece has a brushed backing that traps warmth against the body. Ribbed bands finish the long sleeves and hem, balancing the generous body width.

What went into it

The details we cut in

V-neck collar

The neckband is cut in an open V that lies flat across the collarbone. It softens the broad cut of the fleece body without adding bulk around the throat.

Brushed fleece interior

We chose a cotton and polyester blend knit with a densely lofted fleece underside. The outer face remains smooth, while the interior holds heat for cool autumn mornings.

Dropped shoulder seam

The shoulder line falls well past the natural shoulder point. This widens the chest panel and lets the long sleeves drape loosely without pulling at the underarms.

Laundering and care

Wash by hand or on a gentle cold cycle without bleach. The fleece arrives vacuum-packed and smooths out after an initial cold wash and a light pass with a warm iron.
