What went into it

The details we cut in

Woven cotton poplin

The fabric is an authentic cotton poplin with a light weight and dry hand. It does not cling like jersey, holding its own shape away from the body to let air move through the weave.

Button front and pockets

We set two broad patch pockets low on the front of the shirt instead of a single chest slot. The full button placket runs straight down from a notched collar to a clean hem.

Sleeve and trouser cut

The long sleeves finish with simple cuffs that roll easily. Below, the trousers fall straight from the waistband through the leg, giving you room to turn and stretch without pulling at the seams.

Washing and pressing

Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle. Natural woven cotton shows light creasing out of the wash, so pull the set promptly from the line or dryer and press with a cool iron if you prefer a flat finish.
