We cut these sweatpants from a knit with a smooth outer face and a brushed fleece interior. The low waistband uses encased elastic with an integrated flat drawcord, letting the fabric drop straight down through the wide leg without cuffing at the ankle. Light gray yarns give the surface a quiet heathered tone.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Low waistband
We set a broad elastic band into the top seam and threaded it with an adjustable drawcord. It rests low on the hips so the rise stays relaxed throughout the seat.
Straight wide leg
The leg panels are cut wide and fall in an unbroken line from the hip down to the open lower hem. Side seams run straight down each outer edge to stabilize the drape.
Brushed fleece knit
The outer face is knit smooth while the inside is brushed to create a soft, lofted fleece layer. The fabric holds enough weight to hang cleanly without clinging to your footwear.
Washing and care
Machine wash cold with like colors to maintain the brushed pile on the interior. Line dry or tumble dry low, and use a cool iron on the reverse side if necessary.
