We knit this lightweight pullover with a wide horizontal stripe across an apricot base. The open V-neck sits flat against the collarbone, while soft gathers at the shoulder build volume into the long sleeves before narrowing into ribbed cuffs. It works on its own over denim or layered under a heavier jacket.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Neckline and shoulder
The V-neck is bound with a neat knit edge that holds its shape. We gathered the sleeve head slightly at the shoulder seam to create a gentle puff that relaxes down the arm.
Sleeve and cuff
The long sleeves carry the stripe pattern cleanly down to deep ribbed cuffs. The knit rib grips the wrist lightly so you can push the sleeves up without stretching them out.
Knit and drape
We chose a light yarn gauge with open crochet texture mixed into the knit. It gives the body a soft hang that falls straight to a ribbed hem without clinging or bunching.
Washing and care
Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag to reduce surface friction on the yarn. Lay the sweater flat on a dry towel to air dry and keep the shoulder line intact.
