What went into it
The details we cut in
V-neckline and crochet
The open V-neck sits flat without pulling at the collarbone. We added openwork crochet detailing along the front panels to give the fine knit surface texture without adding weight or stiffness.
Puff sleeve cut
Gathers at the shoulder seam create modest volume through the arm. The sleeve narrows down to a snug ribbed cuff at the wrist, which holds the fabric in place when pushed up the forearm.
Hem and drape
A wide ribbed hem anchors the lower body so the sweater rests neatly at the hip. The fine gauge knit hangs straight down without clinging, working loose over trousers or tucked into a waistband.
Washing and care
Machine wash on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag to reduce surface friction. Lay the knit flat on a dry towel to air dry so the shoulders and ribbing hold their shape.
