We knit this pullover in a light waffle stitch with a raised square grid. The dropped shoulder seam sits low on the arm to give the chest extra room, and the banded crewneck lies flat against the collarbone. It works on its own or layered under an unlined jacket.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Waffle knit texture
The raised grid holds small pockets of air while remaining light. It gives the apricot yarn a varied surface that resists clinging and drapes straight down through the body.
Dropped shoulder seam
We lowered the shoulder seam off the natural point to loosen the upper sleeve. The long sleeves taper down to ribbed cuffs that stay in place when pushed up.
Banded crewneck
The round neck is finished with a dense ribbed band that keeps its shape over time. It sits close without pulling across the throat.
Washing and care
Machine wash on a gentle cycle or wash by hand in cold water. Lay the knit flat on a dry towel to maintain the shape of the hem and shoulders.
