We cut this blouse with an open V-neckline and three-quarter flutter sleeves that widen toward the elbow. The lightweight poly-spandex knit drapes loosely through the body, ending in a curved lower hem. Our floral print runs in pink and blue tones across the weave.

What went into it

The details we cut in

V-neck and flutter sleeve

The front opens into a modest V-neck that sits flat against the collarbone. Each sleeve is cut to three-quarter length with a wide flutter opening that gives arms room to move without pulling on the shoulder seam.

Lightweight knit drape

We chose a knit woven from polyester and spandex for this run. The fabric has light crosswise give, hangs straight down without clinging, and lets air pass through easily.

Curved waist hem

The lower edge is cut in a gentle arc rather than a flat line. It sits loose over the hips and trousers, giving you clean coverage whether left untucked or tucked into a waistband.

Print and care

The pink and blue floral pattern is printed directly onto the fabric surface. Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water, or hand wash, then line dry to keep the drape intact.
