What went into it
The details we cut in
Ribbed knit fabric
We chose a fine vertical rib that yields across the chest and recovers its line when washed. The knit holds its body without feeling heavy, making it an easy first layer under jackets and cardigans.
Mock neck collar
The collar stands up along the throat rather than folding over like a full turtleneck. We finished the top edge with a ripple lettuce trim that lies flat against the neck without bunching.
Lettuce hem details
The cuffs and lower hem carry the same lettuce finish as the collar. The rippled edge adds a light finish to the wrist line and lets the straight hem sit naturally over waistbands.
Laundering and care
Machine wash cold with like colours on a gentle cycle. Hang them to dry or tumble dry low to preserve the rib tension and keep the edge trims crisp.
