We cut these lounge trousers with a wide, straight leg that falls loose from the hip to the hem. The waistband pairs soft interior elastic with a flat woven drawstring for a secure fit. The details we cut in

Wide leg cut

We gave the legs a full, straight cut that stays clear of the calf and drapes cleanly to the ankle. The wide hems are turned up and stitched flat to keep their shape through repeated wear.

Elastic waist and cord

An elastic channel anchors the waist without pinching. We set a matching drawstring through the front so you can knot it tighter or leave it loose, keeping the rise sitting naturally at the waist.

Side slash pockets

Two deep slash pockets sit flush along the side seams. We lined them with the same light striped cloth so they lie flat against the leg when empty and hold small items securely.

Fabric and laundry care

The woven stripe cloth washes cold on a gentle cycle. Hang them on a line or tumble dry on low heat, then press with a warm iron if you prefer a crisp finish.
