We cut these lounge trousers with a wide leg and an easy straight fall from the hip. The woven fabric carries a crisp green and white grid pattern that stays squared across the seams. An encased waistband holds its position with an adjustable pull cord.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Wide leg cut
The legs fall straight and loose from the hip to the hem. We gave the hems a clean turned finish that sits neatly over slippers or bare feet without pulling.
Elastic waist and drawcord
We gathered the top edge over an elastic band and threaded it with a flat matching cord. You can knot it securely or leave it loose when sitting down.
Side slash pockets
Two deep pockets sit right along the side seams. We anchored the pocket bags into the waistband so they stay flat inside rather than bunching around the hips.
Fabric and home care
The lightweight woven cloth breathes well and softens further with each wash. Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water and hang the trousers flat to dry.
