What went into it

The details we cut in

Dropped shoulder cut

The shoulder seam falls low on the upper arm to keep the chest and sleeves broad. This extra width through the body lets the jersey drape straight down without pulling across the back.

Cotton blend jersey

We chose a medium cotton blend jersey with a soft face and a relaxed hang. The knit allows steady airflow during mild weather while sliding easily under heavier outer jackets when the temperature drops.

Neckline and sleeves

A classic ribbed crewneck band sits flat against the collarbone without stretching out of shape. Full-length sleeves are cut wide through the forearm and finish cleanly at the wrist.

Hem and stripe print

The horizontal stripes pair warm coffee brown with cool slate blue across the entire knit. We finished the lower edge with a clean turned hem cut slightly short to balance the wide body.
