We cut this black blouse with a split mandarin band that sits flat along the collarbone. The front placket fastens with dyed buttons down the center. A light woven blend gives the torso an easy drape that stays off the ribs.

Mandarin collar band

The stand collar parts into a shallow split neck at the center front. It stays upright without stiff interfacing, keeping the neck open and clean under a jacket lapel.

Sleeve and elastic cuff

We set the long sleeves into a standard shoulder seam and finished the wrists with narrow internal elastic. You can push them up the forearm or let them break at the wrist.

Lightweight solid weave

This solid black version is woven from a rayon and nylon blend that feels smooth to the touch. The fabric hangs straight down the back without catching on underlayers.

Care and washing

Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and hang the blouse to dry. A brief steam or a low iron takes out any packing creases in the woven fabric.
