A light knit layer cut with an open front and long set-in sleeves. We ran alternating black and apricot stripes across the textured body and finished the cuffs with ribbed knitting and decorative gold-tone buttons. Two patch pockets sit flat at the hips for easy access.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Open front cut
We left the front edge free of closures so the panels hang straight down the torso. The knit sits flat against a base shirt or tank without pulling at the collar.
Cuff and button detail
Ribbed knitting anchors the long sleeves at the wrist. We set decorative gold-tone buttons into each cuff to give the sleeve hem a clean, tailored finish.
Drop front pockets
Two patch pockets are sewn directly onto the front panels. They sit level with the lower hem to hold small items without sagging the knit line.
Knit care
Machine wash cold with like colours to maintain the stripe contrast. Lay flat or hang to dry away from direct heat to protect the yarn structure.
