We cut this blouse from a lightweight woven fabric that drapes cleanly through the body. A low mandarin collar opens into a short split neckline, running straight down into a full button front. The long sleeves end in narrow elastic cuffs to hold their shape when pushed up the forearm.

The details we cut in
Mandarin collar neckline
The band collar stands close to the neck and opens slightly at the throat. It keeps the upper line flat and layers neatly underneath the lapels of a jacket or sweater.
Sleeve and cuff
We set the sleeves full through the arm and gather the lower hem with an elastic band. The cuff stays in place at the wrist or pushed up toward the elbow without binding.
Woven fabric hang
The lightweight plain-weave cloth holds its white tone without heavy bulk. It hangs straight from the shoulder seam and gives enough room through the torso for easy movement throughout the day.
Button front and care
