We cut this top with a tidy crew neckline and three-quarter sleeves that clear the wrists. A single pleat runs down the front center to give the lightweight knit extra room to fall straight. The purple yarn has a soft hand with built-in stretch throughout.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Crew neckline and center pleat
The round crew neck sits flat against the collarbone. Down the middle of the chest, we folded a single pleat that opens downward to give the body ease across the front without adding bulk at the shoulders.
Three-quarter sleeve cut
We finished the sleeves at three-quarter length with clean, turned hems. The cuffs rest midway down the forearm, staying clear of work surfaces while keeping the upper arm covered.
Lightweight stretch knit
The fabric is a lightweight blend with spandex knitted in for give across the back and shoulders. It drapes loosely rather than clinging, making it easy to wear untucked or under an unbuttoned jacket.
Washing and care
Machine wash or hand wash in cold water without bleach. Because we pack these garments flat, run a warm iron or steamer over the pleat after the first wash to set the front fold.
