We knit this bolero with an open front and a cropped hem that sits clear of the waistband. The yarn has stretch through the body, worked in an open eyelet pattern that adds texture without bulk. It pulls on over sleeveless dresses or cotton vests when you want arm coverage.

Open front cut
The front falls straight without buttons, hooks, or ties. It sits close along the collarbone and stays back over the shoulders so your underlayer remains visible.
Cropped ribbed hem
We cut the waist short to end well above the hip. The lower edge is finished cleanly so it sits flat across the back without curling or riding up.
Sleeve and shoulder
Set-in long sleeves run narrow through the forearm and finish with a simple knit wrist. The shoulder seam stays anchored while the arms move freely.
Knit care
