We cut this cropped bolero with an open front and long set-in sleeves to sit light over dresses and tops. The knit uses an openwork eyelet stitch for airflow without bulk. Dyed in a soft apricot shade, it finishes with ribbed bands along the curved opening, cuffs, and hemline.

The details we cut in
Cropped open front
The front panels are cut without buttons or ties, hanging straight down the chest to meet a high cropped hem. Ribbed trim finishes the curve smoothly so the front stays open without folding back.
Knit eyelet pattern
We use a lightweight, stretchy yarn worked in a patterned eyelet knit. The stitch creates tiny open points across the fabric that let air move through while adding texture to the surface.
Set-in long sleeves
The sleeves are cut straight down the arm to sit close without pulling at the shoulder seams. Each sleeve finishes with a tidy ribbed cuff that holds its place at the wrist.
Wash care instructions
Place the knit in a mesh laundry bag before running it through a gentle machine wash cycle. Skip the bleach and lay the piece flat on a towel to dry so the open stitch keeps its shape.
