We cut this cropped cardigan with an open front and a shortened hem that clears the waistband. The knit uses a textured eyelet stitch for light airflow and natural give across the back. Long sleeves finish in ribbed cuffs to hold at the wrist.

Open front cut
We shaped the front edges without buttons or zips so the cardigan rests open over dresses and base tops. The collar band sits flat along the neck.
Eyelet stitch yarn
The yarn is knit with an openwork eyelet pattern that adds surface texture while keeping the weight moderate. It provides light warmth without dense bulk.
Sleeve and cuff
We set the long sleeves straight from the shoulder seam for easy layering over short sleeves. Ribbed cuffs keep the wrists neat.
Care and wash
