A lofted fleece layer cut with clean armholes and a relaxed line through the torso. The pink pile traps warmth without heavy bulk under an outer coat. We finish the front with a full zip that runs straight up into a mock neck collar.

What went into it
The details we cut in
High pile shearling
We chose a lightweight faux shearling with dense loft that resists pilling over long wear. The knit backing gives the fabric enough structure to hold its boxy shape while remaining soft against jersey underlayers.
Mock neck zip
The front zipper runs from the lower hem straight to the top of the stand collar. It closes smoothly to sit close against the neck, holding drafty air out when worn over a light knit or thermal top.
Zippered side pockets
Two inset hand pockets sit along the forward side seams. We put zips on both openings so small items stay secure while you are out on trail walks or running daily errands.
Care and maintenance
Wash on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the pile surface. Hang the vest to dry naturally, and run a cool iron over the fabric if compressed from storage.
