We cut this sleeveless layer from lightweight, high-pile faux shearling dyed a clear red. The stand collar sits close around the neck, while the straight hem falls to the hip for easy layering over flannel shirts and sweaters. A smooth front zip runs straight up to the chin.

Stand collar and zip
The neck stands upright to block drafts when pulled up to the top stop. A full-length front zipper runs down the centre front, making it quick to open over thicker knits.
Lofted fleece shell
We chose a high-pile faux shearling that traps air without weighing down your shoulders. The surface resists pilling across regular wear, and the pile holds its loft through repeated washings.
Zippered side pockets
Two inset side pockets are sewn into the front panels and close with matching zips. They hold small items securely while keeping the front profile clean and flat when closed.
Laundering and care
Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the pile from friction. Hang the vest to dry on a wide hanger, and use a cool iron if needed after unboxing.
