We cut this sleeveless vest from dense faux shearling with a soft, lofted nap that resists pilling. The straight hem falls to the hip, while the front zip runs straight up into a mock neck. It sits comfortably over long sleeves without bunching under a heavier coat.

The details we cut in
Collar and front zip
The stand collar sits close around the neck to cut drafts without rubbing. A full-length front zipper runs from the hip hem straight up through the mock neck, finished with clean binding along the teeth.
Lofted fleece fabric
We selected a lightweight faux shearling fleece with a deep, curly pile. It traps still air effectively, holds its loft through regular wear, and does not feel heavy over a shirt.
Zippered side pockets
Two inset side pockets are set into the front seams. Each pocket closes with a slim zip so items stay put when you are out walking or working.
Care and maintenance
Wash on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag, skip the bleach, and hang it to dry. A brief press with a warm iron lifts the pile after flat storage.
