We cut these sweatpants with a relaxed, straight drop from the hip through the hem. The outer face is smooth, backed with a lofted fleece lining for cooler mornings. A wide waistband with a matching tie lets you set the rise where you want it. Deep side pockets sit flat against the hip.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Wide leg cut
The leg drops straight and wide from the seat down to an open hem. It hangs clean over sneakers without tapering at the ankle, leaving plenty of room for easy movement.
Brushed fleece interior
We back the knit fabric with a soft, lofted fleece lining that traps warm air. The fabric carries enough weight to hold its shape while staying soft against the leg.
Drawstring waistband
The elastic waist casing holds a flat drawcord dyed to match the red knit. Pull it snug for a mid-rise fit or leave it looser to sit lower on the hips.
Deep side pockets
Two inset side pockets are cut deep enough for a phone and keys. We stitched the pocket bags flat into the side seams so they stay smooth when empty.
