We cut these wide leg trousers from soft fleece with a brushed backing for cooler days. The waist adjusts with a flat drawcord, and the legs fall straight from the hip down to an open hem. We dye this pair in a solid camel tan.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Fleece fabric
We use a medium-weight fleece that holds its shape through the leg. The interior is brushed for softness, while the smooth outer face gives the camel colour a clean, matte finish.
Adjustable waistband
An enclosed elastic band anchors the top edge, threaded with a matching drawcord so you can knot it where you like. It sits flat across the front without bunching.
Wide leg hem
The legs drop wide and straight from the hip down to an ungathered hem. This gives the trousers weight and a clean vertical line that rests easily over low shoes or trainers.
Inset side pockets
We set deep hand pockets right into the side seams. They sit flat against the leg when empty and hold small essentials securely without pulling the outer seam out of true.
