We cut this plus size pullover from a lightweight quick-dry knit with a UPF 50+ rating. The stand collar unzips down into a polo neck, and the white fabric stays cool under direct sun. Long sleeves end in thumbholes to keep the cuffs anchored over the back of the hand.

The details we cut in
Quarter zip collar
The stand collar zips up high with a fabric chin guard to stop metal rubbing the throat. Pulled down, it folds flat into an open polo neck.
Sleeve and thumbholes
We cut the long sleeves with deep thumbholes at the wrist seam. They keep the lower cuff flat across the top of your hand during long walks.
Side pocket construction
Two low-profile side pockets sit along the seam line for a key or small card. They lie flat against the torso when empty without adding bulk.
Care and fabric
The synthetic knit sheds water quickly and packs down light. Machine wash cold with like whites and line dry to keep the surface smooth.
