We cut this long sleeve top with a generous line through the body and a stand collar that unzips flat. The lightweight fabric carries a UPF 50+ rating and dries quickly after hard climbs. Gray purple gives the surface a muted, chalky cast.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Quarter zip collar
The front zipper runs to the top of the stand collar and tucks behind a soft fabric guard at the neck. Zip it up high against the sun or fold it flat across the collarbone like a polo.
Thumbhole cuffs
The sleeves are cut long so the cuffs stay down over the wrists. Thumb slots anchored in the seam hold each cuff in position during long hikes without pulling tight across the back.
Fabric and dry time
We chose a thin synthetic knit with a dense weave certified at UPF 50+. The material breathes freely, sheds moisture fast, and packs down small in a trail bag without holding hard creases.
Side pockets and care
Two low-profile side pockets hold a key, trail pass, or card without pulling the side seams out of line. Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water and hang the pullover to dry.
