We knit this crewneck sweater with a raised waffle grid that adds light texture across the surface. The shoulder seam drops low for an easy reach, and the yellow knit falls straight through the body to an open hem. It works over a thin tee or under an open coat.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Crew neckline
The neckband is ribbed to sit flat against the collarbone without pulling. We set it wide enough to clear the throat while keeping the sweater easy to pull on.
Dropped shoulder seam
We moved the shoulder seam down the arm to loosen the chest. The long sleeve tapers slightly toward the wrist, so the cuff stays put when you push it up.
Waffle grid knit
The waffle stitch creates small square pockets that trap warmth without adding heavy bulk. The yarn has enough mechanical stretch to move when you reach, then settle back.
Washing and care
Machine wash cold or wash by hand with mild soap. Lay the sweater flat on a drying rack so the wet knit keeps its shape without stretching out the hem.
