High-pile fleece gives this zip jacket its deep loft. We cut the body with a dropped shoulder and a relaxed profile through the chest, then finished the cuffs and waist with ribbed knit. The front fastens all the way through the wide fold-over collar.

Collar and front zip
A full front zipper runs straight through the spread lapel so you can wear the neck open flat or drawn up against the wind. The pull runs smooth against the fleece facing.
Patchwork fleece shell
We piece the outer from panels of shaggy faux shearling with built-in stretch. The high pile traps air across the chest and back without adding stiff weight to the sleeves.
Ribbed cuffs and hem
Stretchy rib knit bands finish each wrist and the bottom edge. These keep the lower hem anchored near the hip and stop drafts from running up the arms.
Pockets and wash care
Two inset side pockets sit low on the front seam for cold hands. Wash on a gentle cycle, skip the bleach, and lay the fleece flat in the shade to dry.
