We cut this jacket from a thick sherpa fleece with a soft, lofted pile across the exterior. The front closes with a full zipper that runs up into a broad lapel collar. Ribbed knit bands finish the cuffs and the lower hem to keep the volume tidy at your waist.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Collar and front zip
A metal-toothed zipper runs straight up the centre front to meet a foldover lapel collar. You can wear the collar spread wide across the chest or pulled closer when the jacket is fully zipped against the wind.
Sleeves and ribbed cuffs
The long sleeves are cut with room for base layers underneath. Ribbed cuffs close gently around the wrists to keep the fuzzy pile from dragging and to hold the sleeves in place when pushed up.
Deep side pockets
Two open hand pockets sit set into the side seams. We lined the interior of the pockets with smooth fabric so your hands slip in without catching on the sherpa pile.
Washing and fleece care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle without bleach. Lay the jacket flat to dry in the shade so the fleece retains its loft. If you choose to press it, place a clean cloth between the iron and the pile.
