We cut this jacket from lofted sherpa fleece with a dense, soft pile that traps warmth without adding heavy bulk. The front closes with a full-length zipper up to a broad collar that sits flat or stands against the wind. Ribbed knit bands finish the cuffs and hem to draw the shape in clean.

Sherpa fleece build
The fabric is knitted with a deep, curly pile that holds loft through regular wear. It packs flat in transit, so give the fleece a few days on a hanger to spring back to its full depth.
Collar and front zip
A full front zip runs straight up to a wide lapel collar. You can zip it to the chin to close out drafts or wear it open flat across the shoulders over a knit layer.
Ribbed cuffs and hem
Stretchy ribbed knit caps the long sleeves and the bottom hem. The bands hold the fleece close at the wrists and waist, which keeps the body of the jacket gathered and out of your way.
Pockets and wash care
Two open side pockets sit in the front seams for warming hands. Wash this piece on a cold cycle without bleach, lay it flat to dry away from direct heat, and use a pressing cloth if ironing.
