We cut this short jacket from lofted sherpa fleece with a soft, dense pile. The front closes with a full-length zipper running up into a turn-down lapel collar. Ribbed knit bands draw in the cuffs and hem to hold the boxy shape.

The details we cut in
Sherpa fleece fabric
The fleece has a deep, fuzzy loft that traps air while staying light on the shoulders. It arrives compressed from packing, so give the pile a few days on a hanger to expand fully.
Collar and front zip
The centre front features a sturdy metal-toned zipper that runs from the waistband to the base of the lapel collar. You can wear the neck folded flat or pulled close.
Ribbed cuffs and hem
We finished the long sleeves and short bottom hem with wide ribbed knit bands. The stretch holds the wrists in place and keeps the lower edge anchored against drafty air.
Pockets and care
Two deep welt pockets sit angled at the lower side seams to rest your hands. Machine wash cold without bleach, lay the coat flat in the shade to dry, and use a press cloth if ironing.
