We cut this cold-weather jacket from dense, high-pile sherpa fleece with a soft face inside and out. The front closes with a full zipper that runs straight into a wide lapel collar. Ribbed knit bands draw in the cuffs and bottom hem to trap warmth across the body.

The details we cut in
High-loft fleece cloth
The thick sherpa fleece has a deep, textured pile that holds air without feeling heavy across the shoulders. The knit structure has a small amount of give so the jacket moves easily over thick winter layers.
Lapel collar and zip
A full front zipper runs smooth from the hem up to the throat. Left open, the collar folds flat as a wide lapel; zipped high, it closes around the neck to cut the draft.
Ribbed cuffs and hem
We bound the long sleeves and the bottom hem in wide, stretchy rib knit. The bands keep the wrists tidy and anchor the jacket waist against the hips when you move.
Side entry pockets and care
Two deep side pockets sit set into the front seams for warming hands. Machine wash on a gentle cycle without bleach and lay flat in the shade to dry. The fleece recovers its loft after unpacking.
