We cut this short jacket from a dense, high-pile fleece that holds loft without added bulk. The full front zip runs up into a broad lapel collar, while stretchy ribbed knitting gathers the cuffs and lower hem. Two welt pockets sit at the sides for cold hands.

The details we cut in
Collar and zip
The front closure uses a full-length metal zipper that reaches the collar. Worn open, the wide lapels lie flat across the chest, or you can draw the runner up to close the neck against cold drafts.
Ribbed hem and cuffs
Wide ribbed bands finish both the sleeve cuffs and the bottom edge. The knit provides gentle stretch that sits close at the wrists and waist, holding the fleece shape steady when you move.
Side pockets
Two roomy welt pockets are set into the side seams. We lined the pocket bags smoothly so your hands slide in easily without catching on the high-pile exterior fleece.
Care and handling
Machine wash in cold water without bleach and lay flat to dry in a shaded spot. The pile compresses during shipment, so give the coat a few days on a hanger to regain its natural loft.
