We cut this jacket from thick faux shearling fleece with a relaxed body that layers over knitwear. The full front zipper meets a wide fold-down lapel collar. Ribbed knit bands secure the cuffs and lower hem to hold the shape against the wind.

The details we cut in
Fleece and drape
The lofted sherpa knit has a dense pile on the outside with natural stretch through the body. It hangs straight from the dropped shoulder seam without feeling stiff or heavy.
Lapel and front zipper
A central metal zipper runs from the bottom rib up to a broad spread collar. You can zip it up to the throat or fold the lapel flat across the chest.
Cuffs and lower hem
We finished the long sleeves and bottom edge with ribbed knit bands. The elastic ribbing draws the fleece in gently at the wrists and waist to keep cold air out.
Side pockets and care
Two open welt pockets sit low on the front seams for warming hands. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and lay the fleece flat in the shade to dry.
