A soft cotton weave gives these cropped culottes their easy hang. We set the waist on a wide elastic band that pulls on without hardware, then open the legs wide toward a straight hem that finishes well above the ankle. Two side pockets sit along the seam line for daily use.

The details we cut in

Wide crop leg

The legs drop straight and broad from the hip down to a mid-calf hem. That wide opening lets air move through the woven cotton cloth and gives the trousers a relaxed, skirt-like drape when you are standing.

Elastic waistband

We gathered the top edge over a broad elastic band that sits flat against the waist. It pulls straight on and stays in place without buttons, zips, or drawstrings to adjust.

Side seam pockets

Deep pockets are set right into the side seams so they lie flat against the hip when empty. They are cut large enough to carry keys or a phone without pulling on the waistband.

Cotton gingham cloth

The pink and white check is woven directly into the breathable cotton cloth rather than printed on top. Machine wash cold with like colours and hang to dry or tumble dry low.
