We cut these trousers with a wide, straight leg from lightweight suit twill in a deep coffee brown. The front falls from neat pleats into a relaxed drape, secured with a button closure and front zipper. Elastic across the back waistband keeps the fit comfortable through long days.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Suit twill fabric
The twill is woven to be lightweight and smooth, giving these trousers enough substance to hold their straight shape while letting the wide legs move easily. The coffee brown shade carries through the weave evenly.
Front pleats and cut
We added sharp pleats below the waistband that open into a generous straight leg. The hem falls wide and level over low shoes or boots without pulling across the thigh.
Waistband and fly
A clean front waistband secures with a matching button and zip fly. We ran elastic through the back section so the waist sits flat without binding when you sit.
Pockets and care
Two side pockets are set directly into the forward seams for daily carry. Machine wash on a gentle cycle or iron on low heat to smooth any transit folds, and line dry without bleach.
