We cut these trousers from a lightweight suit twill with a smooth drape through the leg. Front pleats add room across the hip, while the waistband combines a clean front button closure with elastic through the back. The wide hem falls straight from the thigh down.

The details we cut in
Waistband and fly
A clean front band fastens with a zip fly and matching button. We set elastic into the back waistband to keep the rise comfortable through a long workday.
Front pleat detail
Tuck pleats run down each leg from the waistline, opening up space through the hips. They give the woven twill structure before it falls into a wide hem.
Deep side pockets
Two inset side pockets sit along the seam line for everyday use. We cut them deep so they lie flat against the hip without pulling the pleats out of line.
Fabric and care
The lightweight twill weave holds a crisp line without feeling stiff. Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle, skip the bleach, and press with a low iron to release packing creases.
